Natrium bisulfate cas nr.: {{0}}, oplosbaar in water, onoplosbaar in vloeibare ammoniak. Ook bekend als zuur natriumsulfaat, het is een anorganische verbinding met de chemische formule NAHSO4. Het verschijnt als witte monokliene kristallen, is hygroscopisch en de waterige oplossing is zuur. De pH van 0,1 mol/L natriumbisulfaatoplossing is ongeveer 1,4.

Kleurloze, deliquesente kristallen. Wanneer het wordt verwarmd, verliest het zijn kristalwater en wordt het watervrij. Wanneer het tot ongeveer 315 graden wordt verwarmd, lost het op in waterige oplossing en is het sterk zuur. Het is corrosief en kan brandwonden veroorzaken. Het is irritant voor het ademhalingssysteem.
